If you have been following Zomate on Facebook and Twitter, you would have seen some snapshots and previews of its features. For those who have not been following the updates, I will go through the basic features, functions, and purpose of Zomate.
As you are probably well aware, Zomate is a new social networking application that will first be released on the iPhone platform in the coming months.

What sets it apart from other social networking applications currently available in the App Store?
Well first off, Zomate requires you to interact with individuals that you are compatible with for a certain period of time. Throughout this interaction you have the opportunity to gain points which can afford you special privileges such as free voice and video calling anywhere in the world. What you should bear in mind is that users will be able to access the Zomate database to find the most compatible relationships that can lead to friendship, mentor-ship a prospect business relationship and even love.
To help you fully understand the features of Zomate, let’s start with a few definitions that will be repeated throughout this post, and probably many posts to follow.
Zomate: A soul that is a compatible zodiac match which one can find through an E-Social network.
Zogroup: Individuals requested by the user via searching the database; individuals must accept your request to be considered part of your Zogroup.
Zotime: Voice and/or video calling credits
Zowallet: An account where your Zotime is stored

After you download Zomate, what’s next?
You will be required to read through, and accept the Terms and Conditions before you can start using the application. After the Terms, and Conditions waiver, you will be prompted to enter your own information in order to register, and be included in the Zomate database – this must be completed before you can start searching for individuals to invite into your Zogroup. The information you enter into the Zomate database may include a variety of physical attributes along with selected personal information.
Users will be expected to upload a display photo along with their:
~ Date of Birth
~ Zodiac Sign
~ Location
~ Sexual Orientation
~ Sex
~ Age
~ Height
~ Weight
~ Body Type
~ Language
~ Religion
~ Political views
~ Interests
~ Favorites: Activities, Movies, Books, and/or Quotes
After completing your registration in the system, you will then be allowed access to search the database – you can also add your current Facebook friends in order to build your Zogroup. You want to create a Zogroup of those users who you are most compatible with and begin communication with them, to find your Zomate.
_________________________________________________________________________
Example: You are trying to find an individual that you can partner with to begin a new business venture.
So you have created your Zogroup of five individuals who you see have similar interests, and with whom you have a Zodiac compatibility and each has accepted your friend request. You can now begin communicating with those in your Zogroup by sending lines of conversation back and forth.
There is one individual who catches your attention more so than the rest because of their personal interests and activities being strikingly similar to your own, so you converse with this individual more frequently.
Every time there are four lines of reciprocal conversation (2 lines from you and the other individual), you will receive 5 points. Once you reach 200 points with this individual, you will be prompted to select this use as your Zomate, and will now have access to more features in the application. For example, if you are using the Lite version of Zomate, and have acquired 200 points with an individual in your Zogroup, you will now have 10 minutes of voice calling to use for the week. This is just one example of how one may use Zomate.

Fun facts about Zomate:
~ The inbox feature of Zomate will be available as a ‘Secret Thought’. The purpose of this feature is that the end user will not receive a notification that they have received a message, and will only see the message once they open up their Secret Thoughts.
~ There will be 3 versions of Zomate available for download: Lite, Regular, and Plus. Each version allows you access to extended use of some of the features, for example, once reaching 200 points with a user in your Zogroup, you will be allotted 10 minutes of voice calling for the week with the Lite version whereas with the Regular version you will be given 20 minutes of voice calling, and finally, with the Plus version, you will be allowed 40 minutes of voice calling.fication that they have received a message, and will only see the message once they open up their Secret Thoughts.
~ You will be able to purchase additional voice/video credits if you have used your Zotime; for example, for just $US5, you will receive an additional one hour (60 minutes) of voice calling.
~ You can only have one Zomate at any given time; if you reach 200 points with another user, you will be prompted to choose if you would like to replace your current Zomate with the new Zomate.
